There are now several fishermen and fisherwomen (?) who finds enjoyment in surf fishing rather than fish from a boat on a river or on a lake. When you say surf fishing, it means you are fishing right in the seashore wading on the water. Sounds like very exciting, right? Well, it is really fun, actually. This is a unique form of angling that has caught the hearts of men by hook or by crook, so to speak. As a matter of fact, all over the Internet, there are now lots of sites that offer book guides and other learning tools to help people learn the basics of saltwater surf fishing and even the advanced techniques to make surf fishing more enjoyable.
There are some people who surf fish on a boat. Experienced surf anglers cruise the beach, of course, where they are allowed, looking for that eddy, looking for birds working a school of baitfish. They will follow a moving school of bait fish for miles waiting for a school of blues, reds or trout to begin feeding through them. But if you ask me personally, I really would love to learn how to surf fishing just standing by the beach with a fishing rod in one hand and it would be a great time to do it with your family or friends while kids are playing and swimming on the far side of the beach.
Another reason why people go for surf fishing and learning some surf fishing techniques is that surf fishing comes in cheap. You don’t need a lot of accessories or any other fishing gears or boats to enjoy surf fishing. What you just need are some of the best book guides or any other learning tools that will make you teach yourself how to catch fish effectively in surf fishing.

If you are always going to the beach with your family and/or friends, maybe you would like to try something new aside from eating and swimming? How about learning surf fishing? At first glance, you could say that there is no big deal when it comes to surf fishing. It’s just the same as with any other fishing trip that you know. You just need to hold a fishing rod the way you always do and you just stand in one spot, wading on the cool saltwater beach and wait for something to grab your line. Surf fishing is a lot harder than you think and you need to learn some surf fishing tips first. It’s just alright if you just want to tru out surf fishing but once you’ve tried and you feel you are “hooked”, then, you have to find valuable tips.
But before that, let me have the honor to share to you a few tips that I’ve learned. The time element in surf fishing is very important. According to some expert surf fishermen, one of the best surf fishing techniques is knowing the time when to go surf fishing and the best time to go surf fishing is high tide, before all of the beachgoers that scare fish come to the beach. So, what do I mean by that? Go surf fishing when everyone else is still fast asleep or something like that.
In spite of the rushing of waves, you don’t need to buy a specialized fishing rod. According to some book guides that teach surf fishing basics, it’s not on the rod that determines your success but how well you cast. When deciding how well you cast, be realistic about what you can accomplish so that you can catch the maximum of fish that you want. And basing on this, the best rod is something that is shorter so you can easily move from one spot to another.
There are still many things you need to know about surf fishing but for now, it is enough to know that surf fishing is really an enjoyable thing to do while on the beach.

Have you gone surf fishing? Between all types of fishing trips, I find this one very exciting and you know why? Surf fishing is another way of fishing while standing on the shoreline or wading knee-deep in the surf. However, surf fishing may or may not include casting a lure or bait, and it can refer to all types of shore fishing - from sandy and rocky beaches, rock jetties, or even fishing piers. The fun part of this fishing trip is anyone can do what he wants. When I and my family went surf fishing just a few months back, me and my wife are standing on the shoreline, each of us holding his or her own fishing rod while the kids were on one side swimming. We really had a great time going surf fishing but unfortunately, we only had a few catch. Maybe it’s time that we should learn how to surf fishing before doing it again next time, what do you think?
We just can’t get our minds off from the great times we had doing surf fishing. Frankly speaking, before that, we never done any fishing. It’s not that we hate fishing, it’s just that we had no time and furthermore, only a few people can have the patience to sit around all day while waiting for a great catch. And I thought, “Hey, what if we can do fishing without sitting around all day, how about standing all day?” Weird but when we tried out surf fishing, we really became enthralled into it. But then, again, before heading out to another surf fishing trip, we need to learn some surf fishing tips.
Well, okay, that would be a great idea but the next question would be is: “How can we ever learn surf fishing the right way where we can get some good catch aside from having a great time with the family?” Well, we tried to browse the Internet and sure enough, we saw some book guides and other downloadable learning tools to learn saltwater surf fishing and we find it quite a good and effective learning tool.
